Estimate: USD 300,000 - USD 400,000- A Rare Pair Of Huanghuali Square-Corner Cabinets, Fangjiaogui, China, 17th-18th Century. Each with well-figured single-panel doors opening to reveal the shelved interior with two drawers, raised on molded square-section legs joined by plain aprons and spandrels, with baitong shaped lockplate and hinges. 81 ¼ in. Seated in vajrasana upon a rectangular throne decorated with lotus petals below addorsed lions and a draped textile, the broad chest partially wrapped in a diaphanous robe with an incised diaper pattern along the hems, the face with copper-inlaid lips, downcast, silver-inlaid eyes, and arched brows, the hair covering a spherical ushnisha. 12 ¼ in.
