Cadillac Lyriq reveal: Watch the official debut right here

The all-electric Lyriq marks a new beginning for the luxury brand.

The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq EV made its debut on Thursday, and we've got a recap of the livestream right here.

This new nameplate's grand reveal was scheduled for early April, but a certain global health emergency put the brakes on that plan. Regardless, the Lyriq promises to usher in a new era at General Motors.

The Lyriq won't officially go on sale until late 2022, but this show car gives us a great idea of what to expect. It's built on General Motors' brand-new electric vehicle architecture and is expected to have a range of at least 300 miles. With its low center of gravity and 50:50 weight distribution, the Lyriq will hopefully be pretty nice to drive.

Inside, there's a 33-inch curved dashboard display, and the Lyriq will be chocked full of all sorts of driver-assistance tech, including Cadillac's Super Cruise highway driving assistant. The Lyriq is one of many new electric Cadillacs to come.

Be sure to read our full Cadillac Lyriq reveal story for all the official details.
