Flames place three more players in COVID-19 protocol
Calgary Flames defenseman Noah Hanifin Sergei Belski-USA TODAY Sports

One day after the NHL postponed the Calgary Flames’ next three games after six of the team’s players and one member of its training staff were placed in COVID-19 protocol, three more Flames players were put in COVID-19 protocol.

Noah Hanifin, Milan Lucic and Sean Monahan are the latest Flames to be placed in COVID-19 protocol on Tuesday after Elias Lindholm, Andrew Mangiapane, Brad Richardson, Adam Ruzicka, Chris Tanev, Nikita Zadorov and a member of the team’s training entered the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol on Monday.

The first of the Flames’ game postponements came on Monday, when Calgary was supposed to face the Blackhawks in Chicago. The Flames’ two other games to be postponed would’ve been in Nashville on Tuesday and a home game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday.

No make-up dates for the three postponed games have been announced.
