A Black man is suing Miami police after body-camera footage the agency released showed officers handcuffing the man and accusing him of stealing his own 2006 Jeep Compass, according to Miami New Times. “Imma read you your rights real quick,” an officer in the video can be seen telling Samuel Scott Jr. on Jun. 1, 2018. «I’m telling you, you guys got the wrong guy,» Scott responded. «I can confirm where I was, and I can even confirm my activities.» He explained that before calling the police, he had just logged off of the VPN, which stands for virtual private network, at his job.
